How to Know Jesus

Come unto me, all you who are weary, and I will give you rest.  I am the way the truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father but by me. I am come that you might have Life and have it more abundantly (Jesus Words).

Jesus and the Bible are so relevant for our lives today.  Some people think the Bible and prayer are boring, and if you are among them, pray that God will show you something each time you open the Word of God or when you pray. Jesus said that those who hunger and thirst after righteousness will be filled. He also promises rest that we need in our world and every day lives. Try to commit to reading the Bible a little each day, and you will find it to not be boring or uninteresting, but fascinating and relevant, words from God Himself speaking just what you need for that time.  It all depends on where your heart is each day.  Your intellect will be used in your study, but you need to use your heart also, because God wants your love.  God can deal with your questions--take them to Him when you read and He will show you.  It may be a week or so later, or maybe even immediately, but God will show you the answer!

Would you like to know more about Jesus? Attend a Bible-believing church.  Read your Bible and let the Holy Spirit help you in your search for truth. Jesus wants to give you peace. Jesus said that He would send the Holy Spirit to be our teacher.  What the Holy Spirit says will line up with His Word-the Bible.

Jesus says if we love Him we will obey Him.  To obey Him we need to know His Word.
